Pre- Construction Tips
Contract
We will discuss the contract in full detail with the client so there is full understanding of what in included within the contract.
Construction Start
During the construction phase we will need areas for delivery and storage. (Typically for a residential project the driveway will be this area). So, plan for ahead parking if necessary. Remember, multiple trades will visit the site.
Time Line
Will list tentative dates from start to finish. This also gives the homeowner adequate times to purchase the necessary appliance and fixtures needed for future dates of the project. We strive to stay on schedule to the best of our ability. Please be aware of forces we have no control over which in result can delay a project, unforeseen problems behind closed walls during demolition, soil problems during the footing stage, weather delays, back orders, change orders etc.
Communication
Remember to keep good communication between homeowner and general contractor, this will ensure the project to keep moving smoothly. They have the plans and created a time line so any changes or questions should be geared towards them to update the schedule as necessary.
